What skills and experience we're looking for
- Ofsted recognised Early Years qualification Level 2 or above (CWDC Diploma, NNEB, BTEC, NVQ, CACHE).
- A passion for the Early Years.
- The ability to maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children.
- An ability to carry out physical duties to include lifting children, housekeeping tasks and setting up resources.
- Emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours.
- Able to communicate effectively with adults and children, parents and carers.
- Good organisational skills
- A willingness to learn and abide by the nursery policies and procedures.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Able to demonstrate reliability and initiative.
- A professional attitude and manner.
- An enthusiastic approach to work.
- Flexibility to cope with the changing needs of the nursery.
- The ability to work as part of a team, developing positive relationships with parents, children, colleagues and outside agencies.
- Adhere to the nursery code of conduct.
- Be trustworthy, maintain confidentiality and honesty to reflect the policies and values of the nursery.
- Ability to cope when covered in multiple unknown substances.

Albrighton Primary School and Nursey is a caring and nurturing school situated in an idyllic setting within a village community next to RAF Cosford. We presently have 302 pupils on our school role including our Nursery. Numbers fluctuate regularly due to a large Service Family contingency. Driven by our continuous quest of self-improvement and belief that ‘Only our best will do!’, we are seeking an LSA to support SEN pupils to reach their full potential.
