We believe in fostering curiosity, building confidence, and nurturing every child's unique potential. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
  • Encourage positive social interactions and emotional development.
  • Assist in creating a stimulating and safe learning environment.
  • Provide one-to-one support for children who may require additional help.
  • Contribute to planning and implementing creative activities.
  • Observe and document children's progress.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A genuine passion for early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.
  • Relevant qualifications in Early Years Education or Childcare (preferred but not essential).

Redhill is a newly built one form entry primary school on the edge of Cannock Chase in Staffordshire.

With just over 200 children on roll and their own pre-school unit on site, they cater for children from 2 to 11 years of age and are fortunate to be able to offer smaller classes than your average primary school.
