We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team. This position is offered on a fixed-term contract initially, with the potential for a permanent role should a suitable opportunity arise.

About the Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting our youngest learners during these important early stages of their education. Working closely with colleagues, parents and carers, you will help create engaging learning experiences that inspire children to achieve their full potential. You will support children's learning, development and wellbeing, create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment, build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, contribute to planning and delivering engaging Early Years activities, observe and assess children's progress in line with the EYFS framework, and promote high standards of care, safeguarding and education.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking someone with a Level 3 Early Years qualification and a genuine passion for working with young children. The successful candidate will have a warm, caring and positive approach, a good understanding of the EYFS and child development, and strong communication and teamwork skills. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare is essential. Applicants should hold an enhanced DBS certificate, or be willing to obtain one, and have First Aid and Safeguarding training, or be willing to complete the required training.

What We Can Offer

At Croughton All Saints Primary School, we are proud of our strong community spirit and supportive working environment. We offer a friendly and welcoming village school community, a small and dedicated staff team where everyone is valued, and the opportunity to work with wonderful children who are enthusiastic, respectful and eager to learn. You will benefit from strong relationships with parents, governors and the wider community, opportunities for professional development and training, supportive leadership that is committed to staff wellbeing, a collaborative culture where ideas are shared and valued, membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme and free on-site parking. Most importantly, this role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference to children's lives every day.

Safeguarding

Croughton All Saints Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All appointments will be subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check and appropriate pre-employment checks.

We may interview and appoint a suitable candidate before the advertised closing date. Early applications are therefore encouraged
