Are you a passionate and nurturing Early Years practitioner looking for an opportunity to make a real difference to children's lives from the very start of their educational journey? At Brooklands Primary School, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our exceptional Early Years team within Bluebells Nursery, our thriving nursery provision for children aged two to four. This role will be mainly based within Little Bluebells, our wonderful 2-3 year old room, supporting our youngest learners as they take their first steps into education. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a school that is deeply committed to early childhood development and providing children with the strongest possible foundations for future learning.
About the role:
As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will:
- Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 2-3 years within Little Bluebells
- Create warm, nurturing relationships that help children feel safe, secure and ready to learn
- Support children's learning through purposeful play and meaningful interactions
- Contribute to observations, assessments and planning in line with the EYFS framework
- Work closely with families to support children's development and wellbeing
- Help maintain an engaging, stimulating and inclusive learning environment both indoors and outdoors
- Promote children's independence, communication skills and personal development
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Has experience working with young children within an Early Years setting
- Has a secure understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
- Is nurturing, patient and passionate about supporting children's learning and wellbeing
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Works well as part of a team and is keen to contribute to the wider life of the school
- Shares our belief in the importance of play, outdoor learning and child-centred practice
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
