Early Years Practitioner (EYP) job summary

We wish to appoint a Early Years Practitioner to join us here at Ferndale Primary School & Nursery to work in our Foundation Stage class. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our team and provide excellent care and education for our pupils.

This is a part time role on a Thursday and Friday, we also have another role advertised for Monday - Wednesday which could also be applied for. The successful candidate will have a passion and enthusiasm for working with children, be creative, dedicated and have a positive attitude to joining a forward-thinking school.

You must be able to demonstrate that you can build excellent relationships, want to make a difference to all children and have excellent communication and organisational skills.

Your role will include contributing to the delivery and monitoring of interventions for individuals and small groups, supporting assessments and evidencing learning, working with the teacher to create stimulating classroom displays and learning resources plus building positive relationships with the children by being an approachable, caring and supportive role model.
