Great Heath Academy is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner. We welcome applications from outstanding individuals to join us at our engaging primary academy.
About you: -
We are looking for a positive and committed individual who has excellent knowledge of legislation relevant to early years, and someone who is able to demonstrate clear understanding of child development and children’s needs.
The successful candidate will have excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, possess GCSE 4-9 (A-C) in English and Maths and a minimum of Level 3 qualification within the field (e.g. Early Years Educator, NVQ in Childcare & Education).

Welcome to Great Heath Academy!
We are a three form entry primary school with a Nursery class, catering for over 550 pupils. We are proud to be part of Academy Transformation Trust (ATT) and work closely with the other academies in this trust. We have an exciting, engaging curriculum with fun, meaningful learning experiences for all children, which are regularly shared with parents and carers. We very much believe that the education of children is a partnership and constantly look for further ways we can work closely with parents and carers to ensure that all children achieve their full potential. Our latest Ofsted inspection (April 2018) rated us as Good in all areas and we are constantly monitoring our work to ensure we maintain this whilst striving to be Outstanding.
Our five values (Growth, Resilience, Enthusiasm, Adaptability and Tolerance) underpin our work and we ensure that all pupils use these to become great citizens both now and in the future. We strongly believe that every child can and will achieve their full potential.
