Early Years Practitioner - Level 2, part-time - Maternity Cover job summary

The Shade Pre-School is looking to appoint an inspiring and highly driven Early Years Practitioner to start January 2025. You will need to be experienced at working with young children and will have a passion for this stage of learning.

At The Shade Primary School, we believe all children should be taught kindness, respect, empathy, compassion and resilience. We nurture children to ensure they are happy to learn and have emotional awareness within our school family through a safe and secure environment. You will play a vital role in supporting our school’s principles and ensuring our pupils feel supported and valued.

16 hours and 15 minutes per week

Monday and Wednesday 08.45 - 15.15, to include a 30 minute unpaid break, Friday, 08:45 – 12:00, with an additional 30 minutes on a Monday for a Staff Meeting and an additional 30 mins for planning

Term time only

Salary range £9,421 - £10,041

Based on fte £25,584 - £27,269
