Redlands Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our team. You will work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff to support pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and development—both in the classroom and in small groups or individual settings. About the Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:
• Provide tailored support to pupils, including those with special educational needs.
• Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans, behaviour plans, and personal care programmes.
• Encourage pupil participation, independence, and positive behaviour.
• Help deliver learning activities across the curriculum, including literacy, numeracy and ICT.
• Accompany pupils on trips and supervise during unstructured times when needed.
• Promote inclusion, safeguarding, and the school’s ethos at all times.

About You We are looking for someone who has:
• NVQ Level 3 in Child Care
• Strong English and maths skills.
• A clear understanding of safeguarding, including KCSIE, Prevent Duty and GDPR.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• High expectations, enthusiasm, and a commitment to helping children achieve their best.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to undertake training (including Health & Safety Levels 1–2).
