Early Years Practitioner job summary
The Governors of St Thomas of Canterbury School (part of the St Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy Trust) are looking for a dynamic, experienced Early Years Practitoner to work alongside our Early Years Teacher in our mixed Nursery and Reception class . This is a permanent post for three afternoons per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). It would be beneficial for the candidate to have Level 3 NVQ or above. The candidate should be passionate about Early Years education and competent in understanding the Early Years Curriculum and assessing children's progress through observation under the support and direction of the class teacher. Essential qualities for the role include showing initiative, being creative and resourceful.
The successful candidate will be joining a friendly, supportive team who have high expectations of children's learning. .
