Early Years Practitioner / Teaching and Learning Assistant
Permanent: Grade D 27.5 hrs per week 38 weeks per year
Start Date: February / March 2022
We are seeking to appoint a confident, creative Early Years Practitioner/Teaching and Learning Assistant to work in our Reception/Year1 class and join our friendly and dynamic staff team. The role will involve supporting all aspects of provision within the class, facilitating sustained shared thinking and characteristics of effective learning, taking responsibility for reading and phonic groups, and implementing tailored intervention programmes where appropriate.
A commitment to inclusive Early Years practice, a passion for working with young children and an excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum and how to apply it successfully, are essential requirements for this post. The successful applicant will be a committed, ambitious but reflective practitioner, keen to play an active part in the further development of our school.
