Early Years Practitioner job summary

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team. Our Nursery & Pre-Schools provide an inclusive Childcare service for both mainstream children, and those with SEND and the successful candidate will be required to support us to deliver a fun, educational and nurturing environment for children.

Your Role as Early Years Practitioner

As Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Support children’s learning and development through play
  • Act as a Key Worker for a small group of children and build relationships with their families
  • Promote the health, safeguarding and well-being of children
  • Be a role model to other staff and deliver high-quality early years experiences for children
  • Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed, including Local Authority procedures
  • Support our Manager and the team in our Ofsted grading
  • Embrace, understand and promote City View Pre-Schools & Nurseries Ltd as both a high-quality nursery provider and employer
  • We would like our new team member to start in September 2026.

    Our settings are currently 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, term time only 38 weeks a year and offer flexible working patterns.
