Salary: £27,729 ( FTE)

Position Start Date: September 2025

As a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting the daily care and development of children (aged 9 months – 3 years) within our setting. You will assist in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment, where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and cognitively. You will work closely with the team to deliver a high-quality early years education and contribute to the overall success of Upland’s Little Explorers.

The ideal candidate will have:

A Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification or equivalent.

A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.

Understanding of child development and early years education.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and use initiative.

Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection regulations.

Previous experience working in an early years setting is desirable but not essential.
