What skills and experience we're looking for

The Trust and the Headteacher of Our Lady & St Paul’s R.C. Primary School are looking to appoint an EY Specialist, temporary in the first instance, for our caring, supportive and forward-thinking school.

The successful candidate will:

  • be inspirational with a passion for learning

  • be a practising Catholic or someone who will support the Catholic ethos of the school

  • have a full understanding of EYFS and the varying starting point of children

  • be an experienced, excellent classroom practitioner who has a commitment to high standards of achievement for all

  • lead other staff within the EY setting and inspire them to develop their own practice.

  • have a willingness to contribute to the further development of the school

  • inspire and challenge pupils to achieve their potential

  • have a willingness to undertake lunchtime supervision

  • have excellent numeracy and literacy skills

  • be a good communicator with a positive outlook
