What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • • Experience teaching in Early Years/Reception.
  • • A creative, enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
  • • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • • A caring, patient nature and a strong commitment to safeguarding.
  • • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.
  • • Create a fun, safe, and inspiring learning environment.
  • • Support children’s development across the Early Years curriculum.
  • • Observe, assess, and record pupil progress.
  • • Work closely with staff, parents, and other professionals.
  • • Encourage positive behaviour and foster curiosity, confidence, and independence.
