We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Early Career Teacher to join St Francis Church of England Primary School and Nursery. This is an exciting opportunity to begin your teaching career within a supportive, ambitious and values-driven school community.

We are looking to appoint a teacher who:

  • Is a qualified teacher with QTS and is beginning their ECT journey
  • Has high expectations of themselves and all pupils, with a clear commitment to raising standards
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset and is eager to learn, develop and refine their practice
  • Shows confidence, initiative and a willingness to take an active role in school life
  • Is committed to upholding and further developing our Christian vision and values
  • Has a secure understanding of effective teaching and learning, including curriculum development
  • Is informed by current educational research and keen to apply this in the classroom
  • Is well organised and able to establish strong routines that support positive behaviour and learning
  • Has excellent communication skills and can build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Meets the requirements for fluency in English in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016)
