What skills and experience we're looking for
To support individual/identified students, or supporting groups of students within different lessons. The key purpose of the role is to help students develop their academic, social and emotional skills in order to fully access and be successful within the school’s curriculum and wider activities.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a strong academic background or alternatively a strong track record of working with young people or secondary school children.
- An engaging and positive individual who is able to interact with children with SEN/Social Emotional Mental Health needs.
- Have the ability to provide support to children who have varying learning abilities.
- Have the ability to think on your feet, good negotiation skills are imperative in this role.
