Education Support Worker - 12 month fixed term contract job summary

Hours of work

Fixed-term 12 month contract

8am – 4pm Monday – Friday

37.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (Term-time only)


We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Education Support Worker, responsible for all elements of pastoral care, to support Excellence in Learning.

  • Responsibilities and duties will include:
  • Supporting excellent attitudes to learning across the school
  • Effectively engaging with families in our school community
  • Supporting student attendance at school
  • Assisting with safeguarding our students

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is suitably experienced, looking for their next challenge, within an ambitious, motivated and supportive learning community. You will be highly organised, personable and dedicated to support the futures of all young people. The post holder will also be required to have excellent communication skills enabling them to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
