Education Welfare Officer job summary

  • Applications are welcomed from candidates who can demonstrate that they: 

  •  The successful candidate will have experience of working with students and their families over the whole age and ability range in the encouragement of high levels of attendance at school.

  • Are experienced Education Welfare Officers who meet the criteria as set out in the Person Specification and have relevant experience.

  • Have a strong work ethic and a willingness to strive for the best in achieving attendance amongst all students.

  • Have a good understanding of the support needed to meet the differing needs of students

  • Have a positive attitude and can actively contribute to the development of a dedicated and professional staff team.

  • Are self-motivated and show initiative.

  • Share the schools aims and Christian values.

  • Have ambition and the drive to develop their skills and support the Senior Leadership Team.

  • Visits to our schools are warmly welcomed and encouraged.
