Educational Communicator job summary

Are you committed to improving the lives of deaf children and their families?

Are you an Educational Communicator who enjoy working as part of a highly experienced team?

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Educational Communicator to provide communication support for pupils whose deafness is diagnosed as severe or profound. You will enable students to access the academic and social curriculum and empower them to realise their full potential, under the direction of the IDP Leader. The successful candidate will be supported by the IDP team with appropriate continuous professional development.

A qualification of Level 1 British Sign Language is required as a minimum for the post.

We are happy to consider part time and full time applicants.

If you are interested in this position, please read the job description and person specification and complete the application form fully.

If you think you have the skills needed to make a difference for our deaf pupils, we want to meet you.

Please contact the IDP leader, Clare Johnson; johnsonc@ipsluton.co.uk. if there are any details about the Provision you wish to discuss.
