Are you committed to improving the lives of deaf children and their families?
Are you an Educational Communicator who enjoy working as part of a highly experienced team?
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Educational Communicator to provide communication support for pupils whose deafness is diagnosed as severe or profound. You will enable students to access the academic and social curriculum and empower them to realise their full potential, under the direction of the IDP Leader. The ability to use your own initiative, working alone and as part of a friendly team, is vital; as is being part of the wider school family. The successful candidate will be supported by the IDP team with appropriate continuous professional development.
A qualification of Level 1 British Sign Language is required as a minimum for the post.
