Educational Visits Coordinator job summary

The position

We are looking to recruit an Educational Visits Administrator / Coordinator whose main role is to administer the extensive programme of Educational Visits for Didcot Girls’ School, joint visits with St Birinus School and Sixth Form Visits. The postholder will work with other members of the administrative team in one of the main school offices to ensure the smooth-running of the school on a day-to-day basis.

You will be joining a strong administrative team. Excellent training will be provided through an induction programme. We are looking for someone who enjoys working as a team, and building strong and effective relationships with colleagues, students and parents. You will need excellent organisational skills, a calm manner, the ability to work in a busy environment and prioritise deadlines. Resilience, flexibility and a good grasp of English and Maths are required. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a fulfilling role as part of a vibrant and supportive school community.

If appointed into the administrator role, relevant training and mentoring will be provided to progress into the coordinator role. The person appointed to this role will be required to undertake Educational Visits Co-ordinator (EVC) training.
