What skills and experience we're looking for

Education Impact Academy Trust is a flourishing Multi Academy Trust (MAT) incorporating Wilson Stuart School, Mayfield School, Queensbury School, The Hive College, Blue Sky Nursery and Lime Tree Nursery. We strive to ensure that all establishments are improving because they are part of EIAT and seek to share best practice and work in cohesive, collaborative and innovative ways. As part of the ongoing development of our Trust team to support our establishments, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join our team of professional and dedicated staff. The finance function has gone through a period of significant change, including migrating to a new finance system (Xero with Planergy for purchasing) and moving to the Department for Education’s Chart of Accounts (CoA). This is an exciting time to join our team and to have a significant influence our ways of working and ultimately decision making though the production of reliable and timely financial information to benefit our Trust and most importantly our students.

The ideal candidate will:• Be CCAB qualified with significant experience of month end reporting and budgeting;• Be able to produce financial information that is tailored for purpose and to the audience;• Be able to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote working environment;• Have experience using Xero;• Be comfortable with communicating effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders; and• Have integrity, enthusiasm and commitment.
