Who we’re looking for

We are looking for an experienced eLearning content designer with a strong background in instructional design and pedagogical practices.

You will have the ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and senior leaders across Star Academies to create dynamic, multimedia-rich e-learning courses that are both engaging and leverage impact. You will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to ensure the e-learning materials are pedagogically sound, visually appealing, technically functional and meet the unique requirements of Star Academies.

You will be responsible for creating and building engaging, high-quality e-learning content that enhances the learning experience across various digital platforms. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the professional learning experience for all employees and help ensure positive pupil outcomes across our schools.

You will have:

  • Experience in e-learning content design and development particularly with authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
  • Expertise in instructional design, with a strong understanding of pedagogical techniques and evidence-informed practices.
  • A learner-centric approach to content development, with a focus on designing impactful learning experiences that are structured to meet the needs of adult learners.
  • Proven ability to create clear, logical, and scaffolded learning pathways that build understanding progressively.
  • Proficiency in multimedia integration and the ability to design engaging and interactive e-learning experiences.
  • Experience with Learning Experience Platforms and knowledge of e-learning standards.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, subject matter experts, and external content providers.
