What skills and experience we're looking for
- Have high expectations for all children.
- Have the ability to build and maintain successful relationships with pupils, treating them with respect, consistency, consideration and warmth.
- Supporting and encouraging the children to eat their dinner.
- Supporting children in the dining hall and on playground.
- Encourage play with the children and introducing new games.
- Work as part of an effective team.
- Supervision of queues whilst waiting in the dining room.
- Support in leaving the dining room in a tidy condition.
- Securing the safety, welfare and good behaviour of the children in accordance with the schools behaviour policy.
- Ensuring that all pupils return to the classroom.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Be punctual and well presented.
- Any other appropriate duties commensurate with the grade of the post which may be required from time to time.
