ELSA / Intervention Lead job summary
The ELSA will provide dedicated emotional literacy support for a caseload of students. This role requires someone who can offer consistent and compassionate support to students facing challenges that may affect their learning or behaviour. This may involve 1:1sessions or group work depending on the student’s needs. You will also monitor and evaluate the impact of your interventions, maintain communication with parents when necessary, and determine when interventions should conclude. In cases where further support is required, you will guide students and parents toward additional resources or services within or outside of school.
The role is full-time (37 hours per week) and term-time only.
While we would prefer a candidate who is already a trained ELSA, we are happy to provide full training for the right individual. You will work closely with our SENDCo to deliver tailored ELSA programmes designed to help students achieve the best possible outcomes.
