What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Experience of working with children and young people with SEND to overcome barriers to learning.
  • High expectations of pupils and a commitment to raising standards of attainment to ensure that each one can achieve their full educational potential
  • Experience of assessment practice and the use of data and pupil progress tracking to ensure that all learners achieve.
  • A track record of outstanding teaching of English
  • The ability to build positive relationships with learners, ensuring consistency and continuity on a daily basis.
  • A commitment to working effectively with all members of the Samuel Laycock team.
