Are you a passionate and ambitious English teacher ready to step into a leadership role? St Peter’s Collegiate Academy is seeking an exceptional KS3 English Lead to join our thriving English department. About the Role
As KS3 English Lead, you will support the Head of English in delivering a clear vision and strategic direction for Key Stage 3 English. You’ll lead on curriculum planning, teaching and learning strategies, assessment, and student progress monitoring. Your leadership will ensure high-quality, engaging lessons and a consistent, data-informed approach to intervention and improvement.
You’ll play a crucial role in:

Shaping and delivering an engaging, inclusive KS3 curriculum

Driving high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment

Analysing and using data to support progress and outcomes

Supporting and mentoring teaching colleagues

Leading curriculum development and sharing best practices

Creating strong partnerships with parents and carers

Modelling exceptional teaching within the classroom

Experience or interest in middle leadership or curriculum development
