‘Think Differently’ to inspire young people to overcome all barriers and achieve their dreams.

This is the Vision Statement of Think Differently Education Trust.

Do you want to have a positive impact on some of the most vulnerable children’s lives in Birmingham?

Do you want to work in an organisation that recognises the benefits of a good work/life balance for their workforce?

Do you want to work in an organisation that invests heavily in CPD and allocates additional training days to develop their staff?

If you have answered ‘yes’ to all these questions, join our team!

This is a particularly exciting moment to join James Brindley, the founding school of the newly established Think Differently Education Trust. This marks the beginning of a bold new chapter for our community, opening up fresh opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and professional growth across Birmingham. By joining us now, you’ll be part of shaping a progressive trust from the ground up — helping to drive meaningful change for our young people while developing your own career in a supportive and ambitious environment.

We are looking for a resilient and dynamic teacher who can inspire young people and support them to thrive. The role involves delivering online lessons to pupils who are too unwell to attend school.

You must demonstrate tenacity coupled with experience of teaching KS3 - KS4 English. You should have QTS and a track record as a consistently good/outstanding practitioner.

If your application is shortlisted, you will be contacted via email within 2 to 3 days of the closing date. Please ensure you check your junk/spam inboxes.

As part of our recruitment checks, an online search will be undertaken on all shortlisted candidates.  This search does not form part of the shortlisting process and you will have the opportunity to discuss any issues of concern that may arise from this search at the interview. The Think Differently Education Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
