JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• An English related degree

• The ability to teach English to Key Stage 4 (and potentially to A Level)
• A passion for English and a commitment to embedding a lifelong love of learning to our students

• A detailed knowledge of the curriculum and its means of delivery.

The Blandford School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated English Teacher to join our thriving and supportive school. The successful applicant will be joining a forward thinking and outward looking faculty where student achievement and progress is above the national average, and a strong range of research led intervention strategies have been developed to support those who enter secondary education below the expected level. They will have the opportunity to teach Year 7 to Year 11, and potentially A Level English. Due to being oversubscribed we are able to offer both full and part time opportunities to future colleagues.
