The Role

As an outstanding English teacher working with our high performing English team, you will have a belief that all students can succeed. You will work with our Head and Deputy Head of English to support the leadership of the English department.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading subject-specific improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting the English department in raising standards and improving progress and attainment.
  • Showcasing best practice in the department
  • Providing guidance to enhance the outcomes of our pupils.

This is a role for a dedicated and ambitious English teacher regardless of the stage of your career, with a vision for improving the English education of students at Glenmoor and Winton Academies, possessing the following skills and experiences:

  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for English.
  • The ability to inspire students and staff towards continuous improvement.
  • A dedication to improving outcomes in English at KS3 and KS4.
