The Role
As an outstanding English teacher working with our high performing English team, you will have a belief that all students can succeed. You will work with our Head and Deputy Head of English to support the leadership of the English department.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading subject-specific improvement initiatives.
- Supporting the English department in raising standards and improving progress and attainment.
- Showcasing best practice in the department
- Providing guidance to enhance the outcomes of our pupils.

This is a role for a dedicated and ambitious English teacher regardless of the stage of your career, with a vision for improving the English education of students at Glenmoor and Winton Academies, possessing the following skills and experiences:
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for English.
- The ability to inspire students and staff towards continuous improvement.
- A dedication to improving outcomes in English at KS3 and KS4.
- The commitment to keep improving your pedagogy and subject expertise.
