Delta Academies Trust have a new and exciting role to the Trust - we are seeking to appoint an Environmental Education Centre Site Assistant (Housekeeping) to join the Delta Core Team in September 2026 on a part time, permanent basis.
Based at our Environmental Education Centre in the stunning Lake District village of Patterdale, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the centre. Your work will help ensure that students, staff, and visitors enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment, supporting memorable outdoor learning experiences in an exceptional setting.

Your new role
As the Environmental Education Centre Site Assistant (Housekeeping), you will work as part of a team supporting the operations and maintenance of the Environmental Education Centre in Patterdale. You will focus on ensuring the site is clean and safe so that young people from any of the Trust’s academies/schools can attend the provision and have an excellent experience. As such, you will carry out routine assessment of facilities and deliver planned cleaning, manage changeovers and ensure the facility is in good condition at all times. Incorporated into this role are duties around movement of furniture and equipment, cleaning duties, health and safety, driving a minibus, working with kitchen staff at mealtimes and assisting in the management of bookings.
High quality on site accommodation is available to successful applicants should they require it.
