PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Estates and Facilities Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Teaching & Learning environment. This includes maintaining the premises, facilities, equipment, and safety standards to a consistently high level.
This role involves maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment by carrying out general maintenance tasks, supporting room setups, and ensuring health and safety standards are upheld. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, good communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality facilities support across the site.
The post holder will act as a positive and proactive link between the Estates team, school senior leadership, and the wider estate management team. For full responsibilities, please refer to the job description.
The successful candidate will be expected to liaise effectively with all Academy staff, as well as colleagues from across the Trust who may be working on site.
