St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi-Academy Trust (Central Team)
Reporting to: Senior Partner for Estates and Health & Safety

Are you ready to play a leading role in shaping the physical future of our Trust? We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Estates Partner to join our growing Central Team.

As we serve 63 schools across three regions, this role is essential in ensuring our estates are not just buildings, but safe, sustainable, and welcoming environments where Christ’s teachings can flourish.

Your Purpose

As the Estates Partner, you will be the bridge between Trust strategy and school-level excellence. You will lead on regional capital projects, manage funding bids (SCA), and oversee the critical compliance activities that keep our students and staff safe. You will act as a senior expert advisor to Headteachers and Site Teams, driving our sustainability agenda and ensuring operational excellence across every corridor and classroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Projects: Lead regional capital works, insurance coordination (RPA), and support the rollout of our new asset management planning system.

  • Compliance & Maintenance: Conduct audits and site visits to ensure statutory standards are met and maintenance schedules are strictly followed.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary regional point of contact for external contractors, the DfE, and Diocesan trustees.

  • Leadership & Training: Provide hands-on guidance and CPD to school site staff to elevate the standard of estates management Trust-wide.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a professional with a proven track record in Estates or Facilities Management (ideally across multiple sites) who possesses:

  • Technical Expertise: Relevant FM/Project Management qualifications (NEBOSH is a plus).

  • Analytical Skill: The ability to analyze H&S data and manage complex funding bids.

  • Values-Driven Leadership: A strong alignment with the Catholic mission and the ability to motivate teams across different school settings.

  • Organisational Excellence: Experience managing minor works, maintenance contracts, and risk registers.

Why Join the Central Team?
  • Professional Growth: Access to tailored CPD and senior leadership forums.

  • Impact: Play a vital role in the formation of a newly established Multi-Academy Trust.

  • Collaborative Culture: Work within a supportive environment committed to the professional growth of all staff.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and pre-employment medical clearance. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), online searches will also be carried out for shortlisted candidates. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

Closing date: Friday 26th June 2026 12 noon

Interviews: Friday 10th July 2026
