Evening Cleaning Supervisor job summary
This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team in a modern, purpose-built school environment. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining a high-quality learning space and take ownership of the daily running of the evening cleaning team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supervising the evening cleaning team and ensuring all areas are cleaned to a high standard
- Carrying out quality checks, audits, and completing daily control sheets
- Providing cover and assisting with hands-on cleaning tasks when needed
- Monitoring team attendance and supporting with return-to-work and wellbeing meetings
- Tracking extra hours worked during school holidays and liaising with the Operations Director
- Giving regular feedback on team performance and standards
- Making sure cleaning supplies are stocked and safely stored
- Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns to the Premises Manager
- Using cleaning equipment safely and following health and safety procedures
- Attending training where needed to keep up to date with standards

- Experienced in a cleaning role (desirable, but not essential)
