Evening Cleaning Supervisor job summary

This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team in a modern, purpose-built school environment. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining a high-quality learning space and take ownership of the daily running of the evening cleaning team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supervising the evening cleaning team and ensuring all areas are cleaned to a high standard
  • Carrying out quality checks, audits, and completing daily control sheets
  • Providing cover and assisting with hands-on cleaning tasks when needed
  • Monitoring team attendance and supporting with return-to-work and wellbeing meetings
  • Tracking extra hours worked during school holidays and liaising with the Operations Director
  • Giving regular feedback on team performance and standards
  • Making sure cleaning supplies are stocked and safely stored
  • Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns to the Premises Manager
  • Using cleaning equipment safely and following health and safety procedures
  • Attending training where needed to keep up to date with standards
