What skills and experience we're looking for

The Prospect Trust is a leading Multi-Academy Trust in the South of England, with an aim of providing outstanding education for all learners within a family of local academies. There are currently three academies within the Trust: The Sixth Form College Farnborough, Tomlinscote School and Frimley Church of England Junior School.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Media Team within an outstanding Sixth Form College. We are seeking a proactive individual to provide an excellent level of support to both staff and students in the College.

The Role

The Events Coordinator (CEC) is responsible for the operational aspects of a comprehensive and varied enrichment, outreach and progression programme of activities and events for College students and other learners across our wider community. The Events Coordinator will support the Events and Outreach Lead in providing an exceptional logistics service.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:-

  • Experience in production of marketing materials/use of DTP

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with employers

  • Excellent customer service, customer care and interpersonal skills;

  • A positive commitment and enthusiasm for working with 16-18 year old students;

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate to both students and staff.

  • Ability to build rapport with others in order to foster positive working relationships
