Exam Invigilator job summary

Larkmead School are seeking applications for part-time Exam Invigilators to assist in the running of internal and external exams. You will work under the direction of the Examinations Manager whilst adhering to the strict Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations for the conduct of examinations. The exam seasons, which also cover mock internal exams, run from November, December, January, April, May and June. We are looking for candidates who have good availability across these periods of time and are able to work regularly through the exam seasons. The school will provide training for conducting of examinations, as well as statutory training for Safeguarding of young people. There is flexibility to work mornings and/or afternoons, start times are generally between 08.00 - 08.30 for morning sessions, and 12.30 - 13.00 for afternoons. Successful candidates will join a friendly, busy team and will need to have a good rapport with young people, be observant, have good attention to detail.
