Pay scale: NJC Level 2C point 4 - £13.06 per hour.

The role would ideally suit a person living locally, who is able to commit to providing significant availability during the GCSE exam season of May/June each year. Hours are flexible, in line with exam timetables, however, you should be able to contribute circa 15 hours per week in order for exams to be carried out within JCQ regulations. Normal start times are between 8.15am and 8.30am. Finish times will depend on the length of the exam.

Applicants will need to attend annual Safeguarding training in September.

All successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced Criminal Record Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service along with other relevant employment checks, including overseas criminal background checks, where applicable, and other pre-appointment checks outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education (September 2024). All new trustees, employees and volunteers will be required to undertake safeguarding training on induction which will be regularly updated in line with statutory guidance.

This vacancy will close when all positions have been filled. Applicants will be invited to interview in order of application, if shortlisted.
