What skills and experience we're looking for
We’re looking for reliable Exam Invigilators to join our team at Plympton Academy and help support our busy exam periods. This is an important role where you will help create a calm and supportive environment that allows students to do their best.
You will help set up exam rooms, check exam packs, support students as they arrive, and supervise during the exams. Good communication skills are important, as you will be checking attendance and recording details.
This is a casual role, with hours varying between 8.00am and 3.00pm.Exam sessions can last all day, or in some instances only be part of the day. You will be asked to attend a training session where full training for the role will be given.

- It is essential that you possess good interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with matters calmly, swiftly and firmly, without being confrontational
- Previous experience in working with secondary school age children would be a distinct advantage as would any previous supervision experience
- Confidentiality inside and outside the workplace is vital, as is the ability to support Academy ethos and vision into the wide community
