Exam Invigilator job summary

Casual as and when contract

You will be responsible for ensuring that the security and integrity of the examination is maintained in accordance with the regulations of the examining body. Hours worked will be on a casual basis, predominantly during peak exam seasons.

As a professional individual you will work part of a team to ensure the smooth running of examination sessions in accordance with board regulation and guidelines so you need to able to understand and apply these regulations. In this role there may be an opportunity to read or scribe for students who have qualified for access arrangements because of special education needs. Training will be provided, however experience of invigilating examinations or similar activities would be advantageous.

We are committed to safeguarding children. As part of the pre-employment process, an enhanced DBS Check, Prohibition Checks, Childcare Disqualification (where appropriate) and Online/Social media screening will be undertaken in addition to other relevant background checks. All applicants will be required to provide two suitable references
