JOB TITLE: Exam Invigilator

BASED AT: Castle Newnham School

SALARY/GRADE: NJC Scale 2A Point 3 (£11.79 per hour)

RESPONSIBLE TO: Exams and Data Manager

The Bedfordshire Schools Trust (BEST) is a multi-academy trust providing exceptional education across our community of 11 schools and five nurseries. Since forming in 2016, we have grown significantly into one of the largest trusts in the county. We now educate 8,000 children across the area, from nursery age to advanced level study, and have over 1,000 members of staff. It is our aim to grow the BEST in everyone, and everything we do is driven by our values.

Castle Newnham are currently looking to recruit more Exam Invigilators to join our existing team. You will form part of a team who will be responsible for supervising pupils sitting examinations at various times during the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms. The hours are flexible and would ideally be suited to someone living locally who is looking to work occasional hours to suit as and when required. Please see the attached job description for more information on what the role entails.

Applicants must be willing to undertake a DBS clearance and the Academy must receive two satisfactory references before the successful candidate can commence employment.
