What skills and experience we're looking for
Edgar Wood Academy is seeking a team of passionate and detail-oriented Invigilators to ensure our exams are conducted smoothly and fairly. This is an opportunity to contribute to the success of our students in a professional and supportive environment.
As an Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in the administration of examinations, helping to create a secure and comfortable setting for our students.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide invigilation and administrative support to the examinations office, ensuring strict adherence to JCQ guidelines and Academy standards.
- Support students requiring additional assistance, acting as a reader or scribe as needed.
- Remain flexible and available during peak examination periods.

We’re looking for individuals who are:
- Reliable and highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
- Calm and approachable, with the ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
- Able to follow instructions precisely, upholding exam procedures.
