Exam Invigilator job summary

Are you organised, calm and reliable?

Norton Canes High School is seeking dedicated and responsible Exam Invigilators to support the smooth running of external examinations. This is a vital role ensuring that exams are conducted in accordance with JCQ regulations and that students have the best possible environment in which to succeed.

What the Role Involves:

- Preparing the examination room in accordance with JCQ standards

- Ensuring correct identification of candidates

- Distributing and collecting exam papers securely

- Supervising candidates throughout the examination

- Managing late arrivals and unexpected issues calmly and professionally

- Ensuring exam conditions and procedures are followed at all times

- Safely returning completed scripts to the Exams Manager

- Good numeracy and literacy skills

- Excellent attention to detail

- Calm, professional manner

- Ability to follow instructions precisely

- Strong communication skills

- Reliability and punctuality

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
