What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governorsat St John Bosco College are seeking to recruit Temporary Exam Invigilators for Public Exams. Applicants will need to be available between either 0800 – 1200 hours or 1230 – 1630 hours during March/April & May/June 2026.

We also plan to hold a training/induction day on Tuesday 24th March and would expect successful candidates to be available on this day.

The school was judged “good” by Ofsted in October 2022 and “outstanding” by the Archdiocese of Southwark in June 2025. Our Roman Catholic, Salesian school, in the heart of Battersea, strives to ensure that all its young people are given the opportunity and support they need to achieve their best, fulfil their true potential and go out into the world confident and ready to ‘earn their own bread.’

Invigilators need to:

  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Have a good attention to detail
  • Be able to relate to pupils in a high-pressure environment

We would welcome applications from people who have good spoken and written English as you may be required to read questions for students or scribe on their behalf.
