Join the Seaton Valley High School exams team as an Exam Invigilator. We need reliable individuals to assist with the administration of GCSE and A-Level exams. While the role supports various assessments throughout the year, the bulk of the work occurs during mocks and the summer series (May-June).

As an Exam Invigilator, you will ensure a professional and calm environment for our students during GCSE and A-Level examinations. Your primary focus is to uphold the integrity of the testing process by ensuring all JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) regulations are strictly followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervision: Maintain a quiet, focused atmosphere and monitor students throughout the duration of their exams.

  • Compliance: Perform essential checks before, during, and after exams to meet all regulatory standards.

  • Administrative Support: Assist with clerical tasks, including the distribution and collection of exam materials.

  • Student Support: Act as a professional, supportive presence to help students perform at their best.

Requirements & Hours
  • Availability: Morning and afternoon exam sessions depending on your availability, within the window of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday to Friday during peak exam periods.

  • Skills: We are looking for individuals with a high level of professionalism and excellent communication skills.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but not essential, as full training is provided.
