The opportunity
This post would suit either a new entrant to the role or an experienced Exam Invigilator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support students during exam sessions.
- Ensure exams are conducted in a calm, fair, and secure environment.
- Administer exam papers and materials in compliance with regulations.
- Manage any unforeseen situations with efficiency and professionalism.
- Support students in following exam procedures and guidelines.
The successful candidate will:
Able to work constructively as part of a team and as an individual
Able to forge positive relationships with young people
An ability to interact with young people in a calm, patient yet firm manner is essential
Have the ability to communicate effectively
A keen eye for detail and the ability to follow strict instructions
Have an understanding of issues of confidentiality and ensure exam integrity.
Be patient and approachable
A commitment to the safeguarding of children
Desirable:
- Experience of working with young people
