This is a casual role; initially for the Year 11 mock examinations scheduled from the 16th of December and will continue in January, followed by the full internal examination season commencing in mid-May followed by the Year 10 end of year examinations, which are expected to continue into July.
Invigilators will be required to provide support in the examination process under the direction of the Examination Officer. Experience is not necessary as full training will be given. However, the ability to lead a small group of invigilators and to have the confidence and ability to instruct large numbers of pupils is an advantage. Accurate record keeping and attention to detail is essential.
This role is paid at Grade C, point 5, at £12.18 per hour – A pay award is currently pending. As you will be paid on a casual basis (claiming monthly for any hours worked) an element of holiday pay (12.07%) will be added to each claim.
