Examination Invigilator job summary

We are seeking dependable individuals to join our existing team of experienced Examination Invigilators.

You will be required to supervise students undertaking both external and internal examinations, ensuring examinations are conducted according to the current JCQ instructions, and in line with school procedures.

This is a flexible role that provides full training and the opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team.

Previous experience is not essential but would be an advantage

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Hand out appropriate question papers to students and collect at the end of the exam.
  • Record examination start and finish times.
  • Read out instructions and provide clear direction to students and ensure that all students comply.
  • Have excellent communication skills and liaise with both staff and students in a friendly manner.
  • Work well as part of a team and able to take direction.
  • Carry out general administration tasks in relation to examinations as required.
  • Undertake all required training and follow school procedures.
  • Support students effectively and deal with minor incidents.
