Examinations Invigilator job summary
Exam Invigilators required
The ideal applicant will be highly organised, vigilant and reliable, have excellent attention to detail and have the ability to remain calm under pressure. Duties include: supervising students taking examinations, preparing exam rooms and distributing and collecting exam papers. We are particularly interested in applicants who are available any day of the week (Monday – Friday) and have the flexibility to be called in at short notice. Training will be provided.
Salary is £11.04 per hour
Working hours will be variable depending on examination requirements and hours are offered on a casual ad hoc basis.
Invigilators are needed up to three times a year during our assessment fortnights and public exams for Year 11, as follows:
6th -17th November
29th January - 9th February
and for the public examinations which start from May onwards. Invigilators are expected to attend various training sessions, both face to face and also by completing on line tasks.
