Examinations Invigilator job summary

Purpose

Sir William Robertson Academy are seeking casual Examination Invigilators to conduct examinations in accordance with JCQ awarding body and SWRA instructions. The successful applicants are not required to have previous experience as full will be provided.

The successful candidate will be flexible and reliable, have excellent verbal and communications skills, be confident and be a reassuring presence to candidates under examination conditions.

Principle Accountabilities:

• To achieve success, the post holder will:
• Supervise students taking part in their examinations
• Ensure that the examinations environment is calm to give students the very best possible examination experience
• Be aware of any needs that candidates may have during their examination Ensure that all candidates are seated according to the seating plan provided.
• Ensure that inappropriate/banned items are not taken into the examination room

Other:

• Enhanced DBS clearance (process lead by the Trust).
• Ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
• To display integrity and confidentiality.
• Ability to work on own initiative and organise own workload.
• To be able to prioritise effectively.
• Right to work in the UK.

Further information about the job

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
