What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to recruit reliable and trustworthy exams invigilators to support the Examinations Officer. You will need to work flexibly according to the examinations timetable throughout the academic year. As an invigilator you will be required to support the examination processes. You must follow the required guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of examinations and procedures during invigilation.The role requires you to provide a professional examination service ensuring a calm environment to give candidates the best possible opportunity to be successful in their exams.

  • Assisting with the supervision of pupils in formal examinations.
  • Distribution and collection of examination papers.
  • Patrolling the examination hall to ensure that there is no violation of examination rules.
  • Safeguard the health, safety and welfare of students and staff in the examinations room.
  • Ensure the Conduct of students during the examination is in accord with the school’s requirements. Complete reports on incidents of misconduct as required.
  • Dealing with queries raised by pupils (candidates) which are not related to the content of the examination papers.
  • Escorting pupils from the examination hall in the event of their being unwell.
  • Assisting with the supervision of pupils before, between and after examinations if required.
  • Fulfil any other such duties as may reasonably be allocated by the Headteacher/Exams Officer within the purview of the post.

We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our Mathematics team on a part or full time basis to start in September 2025. This role is suitable for both ECTs, who would benefit from a comprehensive range of support and guidance, and more experienced teachers alike. We are open to applicants who may be looking for part time work as well as applicants looking for a full-time position.
