EXAMINATIONS OFFICER

Salary £31,284 - H8.20 including Fringe (Pro-rata-dependent upon experience) Term time plus 4 weeks
37 hours per week over 5 days (Mon-Thurs 08:30-16:30, Fri. 08:30-16:00)
We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and reliable full-time Examinations Officer to join our dedicated and friendly staff team with overall responsibility for the School Examinations process.
St Michael's is an excellent school with a warm professional and caring working environment.
Ideally the successful candidate will have:-
Strong GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above or the equivalent - Essential.
Excellent English speaking skills, written skills and communication skills.
Excellent MS Office skills including MS Excel and MS word which are a pre-requisite for this post.
Attention to detail is essential - this post is heavily data driven and accuracy is essential.
A calm, discreet and professional manner are essential.
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Previous experience of working within an Examinations Officer role/ experience of working within an education environment/SIMS is desirable.
Given thenature of the post, a job share/part-time is not suitable.
